HISTORICAL 2025 VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO "PIEVE VALARDEGNA" 2021
Rising on the remains of an ancient mill in the Medici town of Montepulciano, known in old cadastral maps as "Molinaccio," today it has become a fine winery with 4.2 hectares of vineyard where the blackthorn grape clearly prevails. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano "La Spinosa" was our Top in 2022 with a bottle from the 2019 vintage. New entry of 2025 was the 2021 "Pieve Valardegna," tasted at the Anteprime, finding it among the best of this new geographical unit of Nobile. Beautiful spices on the nose accompany the small fruits. Tannins are integrated to school in a sip that increasingly resembles silk.
