Party time at  Il Molinaccio!

This week we brought our wine back home and we filled our two  new 25hl casks just arrived from Austria.
For the next 12 months it will rest and absorb  the flavor of the wood. After other 8 months in bottle it will be ready for our clients and guests. Our first Vino Nobile di  Montepulciano Docg will be available in Jan 2015.


Our Sangiovese grapes have been transformed in a excellent wine  with a strong ruby red color. By the end of May and for the rest of the year a few bottles , just 550, of Rosso di  Montepulciano Doc  will entertain our dinners  , if you decide to visit us don’t forget to  taste it.


We try  to respect the nature as much as possible so  we don’t use chemicals in our vineyards, with the exception of the allowed treatments against diseases. We have a small photovoltaic  power plant that covers all our electricity  needs and we offer free recharge  for the electric vehicles  (bike and cars) of our guests. Our long term target is to  avoid using oil in our farm.


In the cellar full care is dedicated to the development of our wine .  It ferments at controlled temperature without adding any commercial yeast ,so  to preserve its characteristic aromi.
