L'Allocco - Toscana IGT Rosso

We combined the strength of our Sangiovese with the elegance of our Merlot to obtain a wine capable of great sensations. A wine that was able to patiently exploit a beautiful opportunity, like the tawny owl as it waits for its prey. The opportunity, for us, was a super selection of Sangiovese, apt to become noble, and the union with a great Merlot. It shows a deep, deep ruby red, and the plum of the Sangiovese and the blackberry jam of the Merlot make themselves felt on the nose. Elegance reigns in the mouth, delicate concentration and a very delicate tannin. A wine to pair with people you are in the mood to enchant and amaze.

• Grapes: Merlot and Sangiovese
• Vinification: Steel tanks without the use of selected yeasts, temperature-controlled maceration lasting 20/25 days
• Aging: 6 months in French Allier oak barrels. Resting in bottle for 12 months.
• Alcohol content: 13%.
